EMUNAH has always found successful solutions to helping children suffering from neglect and abuse, but in Tiberias, a town in the Galilee, we achieved a first. Here we set up a Centre for the Prevention of Violence in the Family, where many of the problems could be dealt with before children had to be removed from families. This centre has been so successful that the counsellors cannot cope with the demand for their services. Some of the money you raise will enable us to expand the vital counselling at this centre which costs us £33,000 a year to run.

This year's Princesses will meet some of the children helped by Emunah. Once you have seen with your own eyes the difference you will be making to their lives, you will know how worthwhile all your efforts have been.

We have set a goal for the Jewish Princesses to raise at least £200,000 through this year’s Odyssey. We know you can do it. Our children in Israel are depending on you.
